What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect your email address, the topic you select, and the content of your message.
When you place an order directly on this website, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and phone number (if provided), in order to process, fulfil and ship your order. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe - we do not receive, transmit, or store your full card number on our systems.
Standard web server and content delivery logs record request metadata such as IP address, user agent and requested page for security and reliability purposes.
How we use it
Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of the support interaction. We do not add enquiry addresses to marketing lists without a separate opt-in.
Order information is used to process your payment, fulfil your order, generate shipping labels, and send order and shipping confirmation emails. We may also use your phone number to send an SMS notification related to your order status. We retain order records for as long as necessary for accounting, warranty and legal obligations, after which they are securely deleted or de-identified.
Third parties
Orders placed on Amazon AU or eBay AU are governed by those platforms' privacy policies. Social content embedded on this site loads only after you explicitly choose to load it.
Payments made directly on this website are processed by Stripe, which collects and stores your payment card details in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not have access to your full card number.
Where you have arrived via a Meta or Instagram advertisement, we may share limited order information, such as a cryptographically hashed email address and purchase value, with Meta Platforms, Inc. for the purpose of measuring advertising performance. You can manage your ad preferences via your Meta account settings.
Our website, order records and contact form are hosted on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. We do not sell personal information.
Access, correction and complaints
Email support@arpegus.com.au to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Complaints are acknowledged within one business day and resolved within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
